A co-educational independent school for children aged 3-18
Pitsford School is a rare environment: deliberately small, we are dedicated to finding the individual in every individual. At Pitsford, every child is known and cared for and their talents and interests are identified, developed and cherished.
Set in 30 beautiful acres in the lovely Northamptonshire village of Pitsford, our state-of-the-art buildings are surrounded by green open space, creating a perfect and bucolic environment to nourish hungry minds and engage ambitious students.
Our curriculum draws on the best grammar school traditions, building upon them with the most valuable new developments in education. Classes are kept deliberately small to maximise the teacher time received by each and every one of our students.
Our philosophy of education is relational, personal and bespoke. Despite being a small school, we offer a very wide range of subjects (including three separate Sciences, three Modern Foreign Languages and outstanding Art and Music provision). Our results are amongst the best in the county.
Pitsford School, like life, must be experienced. Please arrange to come and see us and learn more.

The small class sizes and house system enable each and every child to be nurtured. No child is lost. Wherever a child’s passion, talent and interests lie, we will find them and nurture them – offering a truly individual bespoke curriculum.
Pitsford offers a plethora of opportunities outside of the classroom. From the Duke of Edinburgh Award to sporting and creative opportunities, there is something for every child with over 70 extra-curricular clubs. School trips have included Morocco, New York, the Lake District, Iceland and France.
Academic results at Pitsford are some of the best in the area. With over 30 different GCSE and A Levels on offer, children can choose individual subjects to match their interests. In the Sixth Form, every child completes an EPQ and has individual support in terms of careers and university. Our students go on to study at the top universities, including Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions.
Whether your child aims to attend Oxbridge, be a professional golfer or take on a prestigious degree or apprenticeship, we help them achieve their dreams. Supportive caring staff ensure that your child thrives at Pitsford no matter what their dreams are. There is no typical Pitsfordian, each child is celebrated for themselves.
